Electromechanical Equipment Fabricator / Assembler

Job Description: Intuitech, Inc., an innovative manufacturer of skid mounted water and wastewater treatment systems, seeks a dedicated individual for an electromechanical equipment fabricator/assembler position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Fabricates, assembles, and tests electro-mechanical equipment in a light manufacturing setting
  • Maintains, tests, and troubleshoots tooling and equipment
  • Reviews assembly drawings and engineering documents in order to determine the need for additional instruction
  • Applies knowledge of mechanical fabrication under the direction of Manufacturing Engineering staff
  • Plays an active role in continuous improvement activities

Qualifications

  • Experience in hands-on work with mechanical parts and fabrication
  • Experience in hands-on work with electrical control panel parts and fabrication
  • Plastic and metal welding experience a plus
  • Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools on a variety of materials
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
  • High attention to detail and focus
  • Structured troubleshooting skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team-oriented environment
  • Associate degree in mechanical technology discipline and/or other technical training preferred
  • Experience with Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Mechanical Desktop, and Inventor software applications a plus
  • Experience in a skid mounted water and wastewater treatment systems a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs. physically and maneuver up to 100 lbs.

Terms of Employment:

  • This is a non-exempt, hourly position.
  • We offer a competitive base wage and fully paid benefits for full-time employees.

Job Type: Full-time or part-time

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour

Shift:

  • 4 to 8 hours shifts, M – F 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Day shift only
  • No night shifts
