Apprentice Machinist

Candidates should have a desire to learn new things and be inquisitive nature. Candidates must be teachable and willing to attend technical trainings to gain specialized skills germane to their role. To be successful, a candidate will also need superior communication skills, ability to work without distraction, and a high level of personal confidence based on real experience.
Responsibilities:
- Learn the trade of machinist through hands on work
- Under the direction of Machinist
- Dimension raw material
- Load work on machines
- Maintain tools and set tool carousels as per set up sheet
- Run machines
- Remove, debur, and finish parts as necessary
- Understand project time lines and assist in completing tasks on schedule
- Provide quality inspection
- Occasionally, when production schedule requires it, run machines outside normal business hours
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in manufacturing or in related fields
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to learn new things
