Intuitech expands fabrication capacities with new tooling and welding machinery.

In a never ending effort to improve the company's custom fabrication capabilities, Intuitech recently purchased a milling machine, Industrial-grade sprayer (for spraying insulation or other industrial coatings), and an orbital welder. These machines will reduce supplier dependency and allow for improved delivery times.

As a resource for consulting engineers, Intuitech now offers a detailed specification for our standard and lease pilot units. This information is available to assist consulting engineers with the creation of a formal specification.

Intuitech doubles the available pilot equipment in lease pool.

Increased demand drives the production of three additional pilot plants for the lease pool. These include floc-sed module S200, fully automated filtration module F300, and ozone module Z100.

Intuitech completes first Australian pilot plant project for the Melbourne Water, Trials for Tertiary Treatment pilot study.

The project included dual-media, mono-media, and biologically activated filters. Due to the success of this and other international projects, Intuitech is now looking more seriously at the international market.

Leasing pilot equipment is an attractive option for short term pilot studies.

The popularity of leasing has increased for short-term studies where the client desires the option to return the pilot plant after use. Budget conscious engineers also like the predictable monthly cost and lease term.

Lease pilot plants for short-term pilot studies.

Intuitech maintains a small fleet of pilot plants that can be leased for short term pilot studies. Modules are available for several treatment processes including...

• Coagulation, flocculation, and sedimentation

• Granular media filtration

• Granular activated carbon contacting

• Reverse Osmosis (RO)

• Ultra Filtration (UF) for Hydranautics and Polymem™ membranes

• Ozonation

Intuitech completes first international pilot plant project for the Regional Municipality of Waterloo, Ontario Canada.

The project included two large pilot modules for granular media filtration and ozonation. Each module contained four 8" PVC columns with a designed flow rate of 6.6gpm. Due to the success of the project Intuitech is now looking more seriously at the international market.
